My "advance throttle" is a lever on the clutch side!

Ha - yes - when I first got it it had been standing for a year and a half ..... Needed a new battery and would only push start. Worked on it fir four hours and still couldn't figure out the problem - that's when ingoogled the silly advance throttle button..... And realized what it was . We hot wired the thing and still couldn't get the start button to work ...... After. A full frustrating morning I looked at my multistrada and remembered that the two buttons had to be pressed simultaneously to reset the computer - what did u have to lose - two seconds later it fired up and hasn't let me down since ...... Until today when it just stopped on me with al lights flashing even with the key out of the ignition ..... My mates on the same rude andi I traced a short to the battery cover where wires were being chaffed between the cover and the box - scared moment but easily fixed.... All well that ends well
