Call me cynical but Bimota are being hampered and now ejected from WSBK not by their inability to build enough units for the road in time to meet homologation but by the delivery of enough engines and running gear from BMW.
Who are the Bimota's up against and beating practically every weekend in the EVO class............ |

Whilst the devoted amongst us would agree that we'd love to see Bimota continue.....knowing what or why stopped them getting enough engines may never be revealed...Had they paid for all of them? Did they have an agreed delivery date that was feasable...etc etc....deals like procurement would always have been done on a contractual schedule....and only that Contract would show the reality.......
I'd normally jump on the cynical band wagon also....but only if I knew I was in full possession of the full facts.........
The other "besides which" is whether they'd have met the next deadline of numbers...and the one after that also.....
If push came to shove...who would you trust to honour a Contract...or break a Contract? Who would have more to lose as regards respect??? Not a tricky one in my books............Controversial maybe...but still a free world (No thanks to the Germans or the Italians in that respect.... )..... |

Thanks for that ...
If you want to post a link to the result that's good but try not to put it on post unless theres a "spoiler" in the title. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
