Anyone have an idea where the price point would likely to be? |

Anybodies guess really...bike was probably North of 20K GBP when new...so all down to the owner if hes looking for a profit or just to sell.........Doesnt say whether the bike is registered either...no number plate given in details.......bike would need a full service and change of rubber cam belts, tyres etc...cam belts not so easy to change on these bikes with the Omega plates being in the way.....so again down to if the new owner wants to ride it or just have it as a museum collecters piece... |

good luck with it. I think there are the closest to the current Vyrus, the tesi 3 seems to have moved in a slightly different direction. |

Thanks but just mailed owner to ask about belts service and ask if he had a price point and he said some 2d's have made 40k
Don't think so and a Vyrus would be a lot cheaper ! |

Wowsa......Could be hes just trying to gauge the market......I have seen these models for sale recently but nowhere near that...MadeInItalyMotorcycles had one for mid 20's and I had a friend in Italy looking for 20K euros for one also....but not 40K.........
You could even buy a brand new tesi 3D for 24K...........If thats his serious price methinks he'll be holding onto it for a while..... |

Bidding ended at £15.5k which unsurprisingly didn't reach the reserve |

Hi 2bims
Is your friend still selling his 2d in Italy
I work in Austria so its not a million miles away
If so would it be possible to get his details and some of the bikes as well
Thanks

It was a good couple of years ago....but these bikes do tend to hang around so I can contact and ask......Bike is/was a Vyrus in Italy very close to the Bimota Factory and was for sale at 32,000 Euros. Some may say this is dear, but If I wanted a Vyrus I would say its cheap for what it is. Its from a Good Italian friend of mine who was friends of the CEO of Bimota, and I have bought a few bikes from him before and some spares also, he also races DB4's with similar upgraded engines.
The vyrus has Carbon Zard race cans on it and its got the engine from the Ducati 999, so thats a twin cam 4 valve per cylinder watercooled engine in it.
My Italian friend does not speak any english, but I have got round this in the past vis Google Translate etc etc, so let me know if you are interested and I will contact and ask...evidently the Vyrus is really what the Tesi 2D is....Picture as per post below
