Can anyone tell me what the standard battery is for a DB1 and it's dimentions?
Mine is stuffed and I want to buy a new one... but I don't hav the time right now to take the old one out and I would like to have the new one to go right back in.
Regards

Cant for the life of me find where I found out what battery for DB1 when I needed one....as no type or size stated in the owners manual or spare parts diagrams,,,,,,I bought and used a Yuasa YB16AL-A2...12 volts, 16Ah....200A CCA.....207mm length, 71.5mm width...Height inc terms 164mm
I understand your need....as its a pain to remove and replace...Oil coller off...horn off...evidently tank and bodywork before then...and the battery tray needs to be dropped out and battery put in it to refit.... |

I replaced the lead acid battery in my DB1 with a Dekka gel battery in 2006. That Dekka battery is just starting to give problems after 9 years use; very impressive. Not sure whether I will hunt down another Dekka battery or simply fit a readily available Motobatt. _________________ DB1S, '74 Ducati 750S, '83 Pantah 600, '03 ST2, '84 R100RS, '83 R65LS, 1914 Triumph 500, '69 Trident, '49 Panther 600, '53 Panther 600, '58 Triumph racing s/car, Honda 600 F2 s/car, '57 Triumph 6T s/car, '12 Suzuki 1250 s/car, Yam SR250 |
