Wondering if anyone here is using or has any feedback on ISR rotors for a YB-6 exup?
I have photo's of the set I just came across, but I'm unable to post a photo.
Thanks,
Randy

What's wrong with your original rotors? _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

There is absolutely no issues with my original rotors. A good friend has these hanging in his rafters and offered them to me. He has a friend who has a set of OEM Oscam wheels so the thought is that I would buy the wheels that need refinishing, paint them black, install the ISR rotors and set my original wheels aside. So there is no need for this, just an opportunity for change.
I have seen these ISR's on RC-30's with a daintier carrier, but never for a YB-6. The bobbins were originally blue, but have been re anodized silver on this set.

Your front wheel in the pic has Bimota cast on it. Do you know if they were made 'by' Bimota or made 'for' Bimota. I'm not that familiar with the yb's _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Same Oscom wheels as on DB2 and the first SB6's.....made by Oscom for Bimota with Bimota cast into the spokes....I see the early Oscom wheels also have Oscom cast into them....which my DB2 wheels dont......all part of being a Bimota....like Paoli or Brembo or Ohlins casting Bimota into some of the parts that they supply/supplied to Bimota.....Just adds to that extra bit of "special",,,, |

I have seen 3 versions of what I believe is this same Oscam wheel. First one, like mine has Oscam cast into the rim and Bimota on the spokes. Second has a plain rim edge and Bimota cast into the spokes. The third version has plain rim and no Bimota on the spokes. As 2bims stated, I believe the early version had both names cast into the wheels. |

Very nice. I've learnt something new today
Are the ozcam wheels much lighter than the anteras? _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I forgot to take the chance to weigh Oscoms when I had the DB2 apart...."supposed" to be a lot lighter than Antera Anchors....but I've never weighed the Oscoms...have weighed the Anteras against Dymag Ally and Dymag Carbon fibre
All same size wheels, diameter and rim width, and all without disc's but with bearings etc and sprocket on the rear.
Antera ...................................Front 6kg Rear 8.95kg
BST carbon.............................Front 2.95kg Rear 5 kg
Dymag 7 spoke forged alloy.....Front 3.45kg rear 5.9kg
Dymag carbon........................Front 2.75kg rear 4.75kg.
I think the majority of the weight in the Anteras is in the massive hubs they use...far bigger than Oscoms, Marchesinis etc
Would be nice to close the topic with the ACTUAL weight of Oscom wheels, without tyres, discs etc |

That an interesting list of wheel weights. The R1 wheels I just put on my YB8 are close to the Dymag alloy wheels weight, and much cheaper. |

Bud,
Just curious as to what mods you had to make to use R1 wheels on your YB-8? What rotors did you use??? Any info would be appreciated.
I have a set of OEM Oscam wheels in transit to me, I will weigh them when they arrive.
