| Also good for visors. Greasy layer it leaves helps stop the flies sicking so well and visor fogging, but needs a good buffing with soft cloth to get streaks out. |

I ended up buying Plexus and the S100 cleaner kit. I got the kit just to see what is what. It looks like the S100 cleaner is really the only thing I would need if combined with Plexus. The rear wheel was a bitch to clean - I hadn't bothered with it in a while. It took well over an hour but the S100 did its job. The front wheel was much easier, brake dust only. I applied Plexus to the plastics, however several stubborn stains were removed using S100. Plexus is not cheap at about $20/can but the S100 is not too bad and can be bought in much larger quantities.
I will make sure to get rubbing compound to take the minor scratches out of the plastic as Plexus doesn't do such a swell job on those. However, what Plexus does is what you see in the pictures, it makes the whole bike look like new:
The R100 GS is next _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10

You can not ask for more than Bimota's and sunshine.
Sun even seems to have found its way to our side of the pond Only 17 days till April and then its back on the road |

I think you got our sunshine yesterday. It was overcast and cool the entire day. Even drizzled a bit In the afternoon. I still got some clicks (my speedo is in km) yesterday buzzing the canyons. I have yet to get the SB8R on the road, so the YB10 gets to see action practically every weekend. _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10

We keep hand cleanser wipes on the van for working on site, they are superb for cleaning chain lube and brake dust off. _________________ The Red Barron, Bimota YB9Sri, yamaha RD500lc, yamaha RD500 lc YZR replica, Ducati 750ss |

I use these wipes for lighter smudging. It was a mother to remove the grease even with S100. I tried using alcohol (read vodka). It did take care of the smudges on the plastics but didn't do all that much on the wheel. Maybe I could have gotten it off eventually by using vodka, but I ended up consuming about half the bottle in the process _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10
