Looks to me like this SB6 has been down the road at least twice. There's scrape marks on the frame going 2 different directions _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I'm actually half considering this thing, although that frame damage really puts me off. |

I see that Centrepoint are at it again....youtube uplink.....a Original Mk1 white framed Ducati Superlight in Yellow....which is in the rarer yellow...but seems to be missing its fairing....cant see the wheels but they should be the rarer mag spoke ones bolted to alloy rims...AND....another SB6 which only seems to be missing its screen....plus a nice race ducati 900ss....and a couple of nice monsters including a S2R in blue with the white stripe down the middle....ruddy son of the owner knows nothing about the bikes though.....probs too young to know them all I suppose

When I dealt with him, it was painfully obvious that he (and his mechanic) knew nothing about Bimotas. It probably worked to my advantage in the end though. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I don't understand why he keeps pulling them apart and putting them back together so badly. I know there is an issue with tanks sometimes out of Japan but? The three bikes I have bought from them all show signs of being poorly put together. Also they have heaps of Bimota stuff lying around surely they could do a better job of making the complete unit?
BTW there is another SB6 coming soon per their Facebook site. _________________ pkay

Yeah I get an uneasy feeling from them to be honest. When I walked around their shed I had mixed feelings.... I felt excited to see quite a bit of a Bimota stuff, but at the same time felt a little sick inside seeing the state of most of the bikes..... partly stripped Bimotas stacked along the wall with bits and pieces all around them. I think it’s shitty that they sell the bodywork of most of the bikes separately _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Selling the bodywork separately doesn't make sense to me, i have never heard of that before. You would think they would get more money for a complete bike. |

The DB4 that I bought off them had a few bits missing including the bodywork. I bought it as a parts bike so it suited me really. They’ve had the seat/ tank unit for sale for a very long time on eBay. It’s got no bolt on bits on it only the painted fibreglass and they want $2200 for it _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

The place feels kinda schizophrenic when you visit, shit everywhere.
They dissasemble the bikes so the can fit more in a container, and they don't bring in the tanks for the parts bikes, which is so very stupid for rarities like the Bims & Gileras. The SB8R basket case I looked at had a SB6R front wheel in it with the speedo pickup magnets in the disc bobbins.
The Ducati 748 "SP" that they're selling is not an SP, that's for sure.
Steel biposto subframe, Showa shock...
I tried to do some horse trading with them to get the SB8R at a price that made more sense - offered up a good set of SB6 forks/triples/calipers and a set of Ducati 916SP Iron floating discs - got offered $400. Walked away, sold the discs alone for that. I notice that he's trying to move a set of SB6R forks for stupid money. |

Surprisingly, I got the tank with the DB4 that I bought off them. Although everything that should have been bolted onto the tank was gone.... outlet, petcock, sender, fuel pump etc. They want stupid money on most of their stuff. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I don’t understand why they seem to separate rare stuff. Like the DB4 seat unit for example. They’ve removed all of the hard to find stuff like, the seat pad, tank pad, ally tank cap, seat lock assy, rear carbon assembly for tail lights etc. I’ve never seen this stuff for sale anywhere and yet it’s all been removed from most of the bodywork that they sell _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I don't know that they've done it themselves - with those bikes having been cannibalised for parts sitting at the parallel importer in japan, it makes sense to me that a bunch of that stuff got pulled to support bike that they sold. |
