Its Dark here now and man cave is closed up....so I'd better check my archive photos of my Db2, Db4 and Vdue....and see if any of my Paioli Forked bikes actually have a use for these raised rubberised logos.....Oh er…..Last time I looked I wasn't missing any …..but with age...I dont even recall if any of my bikes actually have the circular mouldings to take any...>nice to have spares though aye? |

Stock DB2 forks don't have these, but seeing as how your DB2 has YB forks, yours does have these. SB6 doesn't have them either. So, I need 4 for my DB4's. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I recon that’s very close to the size Ralf, I’ll check mine today. Thanks for the heads up, I’ll order some if they are the right size |
18mm so these are the right size. Cheap at only 2.33€ each..... But 25.90€ for postage to Australia and they won’t do cheaper postage |
Its 5.50 euros to ship 4 of them to me....as they are in France and give 2 options of postage to Uk….messenger me....I might have a couple just for giggles...as in "buy a couple" |
There was only one postage option for me and it was 25.90. I even emailed them to see if they'd pop them in an envelope but they simply said "we don't offer any other postage" _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Those Damn dirty Froggies......nevermind…..we've apparently just signed an "entente cordiale" with them so that we can go and see them....and they can come and see us......why they'd want to do that heaven only knows.....they dont like our lambs, our butter or cheese....and they dont like the shape of our loaves of bread either....not "bageuttey" enough for them.
So....you need 4 number.....just the number I ordered....Wow...my spares didn't last long.
Have to pull you up on one small minor indiscretion though Brian in your prose....For which I will have to send you to "Coventry"....for...hmmm....maybe 24 Hrs at least....whilst you hang your head in shame and mull over your indiscretion.....My DB2 is NOT wearing YB11 51mm Paiolis up front......these were notoriously made out of spec on the 51mm dimension....and regularly pop their oil seals even from new......these have Cast alloy tops and bottoms and carbon fibre tubes with steel liner.
My DB2 and its 51mm Paiolis…..are top of the line bolt on accessories the previous owner bought from the factory at a whopping price of £1500 way back in 1996...which in todays money is £2,412......they are solid milled billet by hand....tops and bottoms....with Front wheel paddock stand bobbins....and the middle sections are turned billet also which have been black anodised......although yes...they do have the raised plastic rubberised Paioli logo bubbles/stickers
Review the pictures.....upload....delete old knowledge of "YB11 forks".....consider your shame....and I'll see you in 24 hrs....after which ...hopefully...normal service will be resumed....

OK...… My bad, I knew they were 51mm Paioli's so foolishly assumed they were YB forks...… However, I never mentioned YB11 forks, only YB, so i'm going to have to pull you up there too my friend.... So, a small indiscretion on your part too... I'm calling us square and I'd like my 24hr hanging of the head in shame revoked, or at least part there of. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Prosecution rises......Only the YB11 was fitted with 51mm Paiolis…..No other Bimota or YB....so to mention the YB series it is safe...and correct to assume that you were more specifically referencing the YB11...as this is the only model....nay...I add further...the only Motorcycle in production...ever....to be fitted with 51mm forks as standard...proclaimed at the time to be the worlds larger diameter forks ever fitted to a production bike....
The prosecution rests pending closing speeches.....Do you wish to present "Witness letters of Good character" on behalf of yourself?...Otherwise known as last ditch begging ? |
