Hi I am new to the Bimota world, with a SB8R in my garage since a few months
While plugging/ unplugging the fuel tank connection I noticed a small fuel leakage which stops after a few seconds but gives me little confidence that it would not cause any issues while riding
Is this a known problem and does changing the small gasket at the connector solve the issue? Or is there another way to fix this?

Hi David,
I guess you are talking about the plastic connexion ?
It does not age well due to the contact with the fuel.
Mine just broke while reconnecting it few years ago.
I had it replaced by a metal connexion and had no problem since then.

Hi atomibart, thanks for your reply, yes my issue is with the plastic connexion - is there a specific reference for the metal one you are referring to ? Or would you have a photo of your new connection maybe ? Is this an easy job to replace / does it require some specific tools ?

And this metal connexion can't be found on the Suzuki TLR (or TLS) part-list?

It' s just an idea, but who knows?

Actually I had it made by a friend who has Bimotas too.
Yes it requires specific tools. I will try to take pictures for you.
