...Can you handle more carbon?...

Would anyone be interested in a rear brake master cylinder cover in carbon?
This one is on a SB6 but should fit most brembo cylinders with this bolt spacing...

...Just to make it clear, this is the master cylinder cover only and NOT the foot rest hanger.
Preliminary negotiations will put these at about £45 each but if there's a big demand the price will come down Wink

Will certainly fit SB6, SB7, SB6R and I'm sure the doochatee boys will chime in with there views Wink

Shout up if your interested and I'll start a list to see if it's worth while Wink

P.S 40mm bolt spacing, just measured

Bizzarly Im presently over at the Hethel Engineering Centre in Norfolk.
About 1 mile from the Lotus factory.

Im training a load of bods from Carbon Fibre Technologies how to drive their new CAD system.
I dont think they do any SB6 stuff though, otherwise I would try and blag a load of bits....

We use CAD - we've just gone to 2012 AutoCAD and most people dislike the ribbon interface. It crashes a lot too.

Yep.....as you walk around the SB6, there is only one spot on the whole bike that looks unfinished/untidy......and this hides it....too much? Rolling Eyes

P.S.
Bimota realised this when they designed the SB6R as they moved the reservoir out of sight, and fitted a heel plate to hide the master cylinder.........
hides too much?........ Rolling Eyes

Hi Oily, I'd be up for 2 please, They also Fit YB11, as mine came from a YB11, and the YB11's don't have a heel guard and your boot constatly rubs against the rubber cap of the rear brake light pressure switch (re banjo switch cover) I have one but its damaged and would like more.

They also fit Db2's also, as they have no heel guard either. They also fit Db4 as they all use the same spacing for the rear brembo master cylinder, although on the Db4's there should be a heel guard (alloy) in place already.

So 2 for me, I'm sure Vort will be up for some also,

Just looked at this thread..... What about a modified design. Make it more like a heel guard and put a cut out in the centre of the cover? You can make changes to it as long as the basic shape stays the same...
