i'v just repaired my sprag clutch, got a new, looks updated bearing and cover from piero last week, fitted it and it started first time.. buzzing!! _________________ S harris |

Does the engine oil need to be dropped as well as the coolant? Doing mine this weekend. |

Yes, oil out.
If you drop the engine slightly you can leave the clutch assy together, if you do in situ you have to remove clutch basket and round nut at bottom of basket . This will be thread locked on so requires heat to melt thread lock. |

Fitted the Sprag bearing, bike fired up first hit of the button . Happy days.
Just need a Carbon clutch cover to finish the job off. |

I will wait for a UK manufactured one. I just can't get over paying duty on postage for goods from the States as well as import duty.
On another note, my friction plates look like they are made of a copper coloured material and have no friction material on them like a wet clutch, is this normal? |
